As a Project Manager for your organisation's Exhibitions do you ever get asked ''What should we wear'' from everyone in your squad? It's one we're always asked, so we start Episode 9 by sharing some thoughts on how to approach this, especially in the negative context of ICE London 2018.
We then throw over to recent Event Management graduate Evangeline Morrison who's currently working with a global event's organiser in London. Evangeline shares some of the highs and lows of her experience getting in to the industry and gives us all (exhibitors and organiser) some food for thought on how we can help nurture bright, young talent in the industry and ensure we're all making the most of their potential, value and knowledge.
Enjoy the show and thanks again for listening!

Well a happy New Year to all our listeners... is anyone fed up of all of that yet?
So in this episode we have a brief run down on the highs and lows of CES 2019 and what unexpected bit of kit won 'Best in Show'!
Our guest this time around is Gabriela Castro Fontoura from Sunny Sky Solutions. Gaby explains the vast opportunities to be had in Latin America and gives advice that is useful to anyone considering exhibiting and exporting to anywhere in the world and not just in this region. She also explains that to do business in Latin America may not initially mean having to travel so far as buyers from this region regularly attend European and Asian trade shows. However, you do need to understand the cultural and laid back attitude when doing business in the region which having lived and worked in the UK (Skipton, North Yorks) for 13 years meant that she too had to initially readjust on her return to Uruguay.
Enjoy the show and don't forget to send in any Trade Show Troubles that you would like answering on future episodes.

In our second instalment of The Exhibitionist Podcasts we interview Tim Christian from Project :: 4 an exhibition stand design and build agency. As well as looking at the current trends Tim explains some do's and don'ts as well as the importance of manning your stand with trained and well briefed staff which he points out is as important as getting the design and functionality of your stand nailed.
We also take a look at feedback from Episode 1 and what delegates on our last workshop wanted to hear about this week - in this case the topic was "to give, or not to give" freebies out at trade shows?
Remember if you have a trade show trouble or would like to share your experiences from either side of the exhibition fence then please do contact us and be part of the conversation via www.inspiringexhibitors.com
Once again thanks for listening
